PacTec’s 2012 Forecast and Well Wishes

pactec focused on 2012Well, it seems that everyone and their grandmother is doing predictions. PacTec is not really a prediction kind of company. We are more of a forecast. These two words, may sound like the same thing, but they are not. Check it:

    • Predict is a transitive verb meaning to declare or indicate in advance; especially in the foretelling on the basis of observation, experience, or scientific reason.
    • Forecast is a transitive verb meaning to calculate or predict usually as a result of study and analysis of available pertinent data.

The bones of it is this: When you predict, you say something is going happen, but forecasting is talking about future events based on data . . . so . . .

The PacTec Difference

pactec locations verticalJohn Naisbitt once said that the most reliable way to forecast the future is to understand the present. That can be said about just about any informed decision you have to make. Look at the present, learn from the past, and forecast for the future. It’s actually a proactive practice.

Industries that generate wastes that need to be packaged and transported have to constantly have the presence of mind to seek what hasn’t been sought and learn what they never knew. When speaking with customers who have unique needs, PacTec has the ability to pull from a wealth of history of successful solutions. We can use these successful solutions and build upon, in conjunction with industry trends, and show our customers how our past enables us to create solutions specifically suited for their needs today and in the future.

No other company in the waste and transport packaging can do this because . . . they do not have the history. Their forecast becomes prediction, and our forecast solidifies our prominence in the industry.

Our Wishes for the New Year

In 2012 we look forward to partnering with new customers for exciting new solutions. It’s what we do, confidently and consistently. We want to wish you a very prosperous 2012, and invite you to challenge PacTec in 2012 with problems that you have never found a solution to. It’s what we do.

We want to thank our customers and partners for helping to make this year successful and another year to build upon. We wish the same for you! May your business be multiplied and your profits soar! We are here for you!
