MEET THE TEAM: Domingo Gonzales | Southwest Sales Executive

Last Updated On Nov 9, 2021

It may sound cliché when we say a salesperson “wears many hats,” but for Domingo Gonzales, what else can be said? As PacTec’s Southwest Territory Sales Executive, Domingo leads the pack in sales and distribution for the Houston Metropolitan Area, making him the authority for keeping a close eye on inventory levels, processing and delivering orders, and warehousing. On top of all that, he still finds time to assist local refineries, industrial sites, and oil and gas guys with their waste packaging and spill containment needs.

“I’m the guy that likes to get my hands dirty, and I’ve used pure grit and determination to build the life I wanted for my family,” Domingo says proudly. “Immediately after high school, I remember my early jobs in welding and going to school at night. I worked my way up from there, to running our warehouse and eventually into sales – and I’ve cherished every experience along the way.”

In his time at PacTec, Domingo has become our team’s expert in large industrial waste bags (TransPacs®). Because he knows the myriad problems these bags can solve, his first-hand experience comes in handy when explaining to our customers how easily they can be manufactured and modified for specific applications. Domingo’s problem-solving mentality and honesty have helped his customers challenge the status quo by presenting alternative solutions while gaining trust and building long-standing relationships that will last for years to come. If you’d like to know more, please contact Domingo via email for assistance with your TransPac® needs.

Before joining #teampactec 3.5 years ago, Domingo built a successful career in truck sales for cement and waste collection. During that time, he gained a plethora of knowledge about the waste industry. Overall, his 20 years of experience has parlayed into the remarkable ability to help customers work through their waste stream challenges.

When Domingo is not on the grind for PacTec, he tilts his "many hats" into making custom felt hats that are fitted precisely for the hat wearers' heads. And for an added touch of flair, he can add feathers and or leather straps. His hat-making hobby helps him to continue to work with his hands in a creative and fulfilling way.

When he's not making hats, Domingo shifts his hat towards his family, spending as much time as possible with his wife of 19 years and their 3 beautiful children. Together, they enjoy traveling, camping, cooking out, and spending time with friends. He’s often the designated grill master when our team gets together, so hit him up for his pit secrets on LinkedIn (if you can convince him to share.)
