“Without a solid foundation, you’ll have trouble creating anything of value.”
This quote perfectly describes the “rock” of our sales team, Erin Graves. Serving the PacTec team for 12 years, Erin is the central hub of order communication and providing our customers with the best customer service experience. From getting products quoted, inputting orders into our internal systems for production, communicating this with customers and tracking them all the way to final delivery - Erin keeps her finger on the pulse of nearly 6,500 customer orders per year.
When talking to Erin about her journey here at PacTec, she says, “to me, Customer Service is more than just talking to customers and data entry. We get an opportunity every day to remove customers’ stress about a pinch point in their day. I take away their worry by knowing when it may time to reorder, tracking their shipments, etc.” PacTec has built value for our customers by emulating this ideal and being a partner motivated by solving problems. The ability to relieve stress along the entire buying journey is one of our main goals.
Erin’s customer service expertise has made her our in-house guru on almost all things PacTec, especially dewatering filters and TransLiners®. Erin has total recall regarding measurements, mil thicknesses, pallet quantities, and pricing, so if you need to get a quote, ask a question, or place an order, hit her up by email or call the office, and she will be happy to help.
“When I started, we only offered a few variations of our unique liner. Now we offer so many because containers have changed, and we’re extruding liners for roll-offs, dump trucks, end dumps, rail cars, and more. I’m glad, too, because I’ve heard some horror stories in my day about cleaning those things out or guys taping down poly sheeting. Don’t do that anymore. Give me a call, and we’ll get you set up.”
A job like this requires extreme discipline, organization, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask, and Erin’s experience in the US Army was the perfect prerequisite for this role. Erin’s experience as a bank bookkeeper, car dealership service desk coordinator and Compliance Office Administrator with the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors has contributed to her success.
Originally from Los Angeles County, California, Erin settled down in “The Boot”, after meeting her love, Chad, in the Army and moving to his hometown. Quickly adapting to the culture shock of the Louisiana lifestyle, Erin promptly settled in and made herself at home. When Erin is not working, she loves spending time with Chad, her husband now of 20 years, watching movies or camping with her two teenage boys and their cats and dogs. This self-proclaimed Halloween-lover begins planning months in advance for the family costumes, decorations, treats, and more. And when she’s not doing that, this Disney-fanatic can be found park hopping between Orlando’s Walt Disney World and her childhood favorite Disneyland.
