# MEET THE TEAM: Maria Stanfill | Quality Assurance Manager

Maria holds one of the most important roles at PacTec: Quality Assurance. In her 6 years with us, she has quickly grown from Sales Engineer to overseeing our entire Quality Management System, vital to our mission of providing consistently high-quality products to our customers. She was instrumental in obtaining our [ISO 9001:2015 certification](https://www.pactecinc.com/quality/), in addition to ensuring we proactively follow all NQA-1 requirements expected by our customers at DOE sites.

She is a great hands-on supervisor, proud of her well-trained quality inspectors. You can often find her on the production floor inspecting orders, discussing process consistency implementation, or on the road visiting customers. In addition, she handles customer complaints, compliance issues, product costing and is a member of the product design and approvals team.

Born and raised in Honduras, she never imagined she would settle in southern Louisiana. But after 11 years, although she misses her family very much, she loves it here and spending time in her new home with her college-sweetheart husband. Her Chemical Engineering degree from LSU combined with her bilingual abilities make her a force to be reckoned with, especially in the kitchen, where she’s always cooking up something delicious. But where she truly loves spending her time is outdoors… hiking, running, biking, camping, gardening, hanging out with family and friends or reading a book.
